When I returned to the rock last week, I was so excited to receive my awaiting Christmas gifts!
My ChelleMac Bag (Ig: @chellemacbags) that hubby knew I had my eyes on is sooo fab. The attached mini $ purse is so convenient too, since I no longer carry a purse around with Covid. Great accessory while in my Jamaica Nice (Ig: @yesjamaicanice) Tank, also adorned in my Jamaican made bamboo wooden JIANBE (Ig: @jianbe_shop) Watch, topped off by the euphoric feeling of getting a fresh Mani Pedi from my favourite Spa in Kingston, the White Orchid Spa at The Jamaica Pegasus (Ig: @jamaicapegasus) after returning from the cold.

Have you been to the fairly new Coppers Jamaica Restaurant (Ig: @thecoppersja) on Haining Road?
It was the last stop for hubby, Randy’s Restaurant Hopping Birthday Weekend. We couldn’t get a reservation for the Saturday, so we went for Lunch on Monday, December 6th. You have to call ahead early for this spot Suga Bears.
Owner, Heather is back, but what we knew as Heather’s had to be revamped into what seemed to be a long time vision, Coppers. Well executed. You have casual and formal dining options, outdoors and indoors respectively.
Our waitress was courteous & attentive throughout our stay.
They scored a fantastic Chef, Ramesh, who used to be at Cellar 8 in their early days. IYKYK. So the food was of course, spectactular.
Chef Ramesh’s seasoning and flavours are in a class by itself. I enjoyed the juicy Japanese Sticky Pork with Soya Ginger Greens & Basmati rice, while Randy fulfilled his Burger craving. If you have one, go for it! A Two Patty Smash Burger stuffed with crispy onion rings, served with seasoned fries.

We’ve come to another stop on Randy’s Birthday Hopping Weekend, Steakhouse on the Verandah (Ig: @steakhouseontheverandah) at Devon House.
It’s been too long. Props to Chef Christian Sweeney (Ig: @chefsweeney) and his team. Perfectly cooked Steaks, great service and ambience topped off by ‘really good’ Dessert.
I don’t think I’ve heard it, but it needs to be said. Happy Hubby, Happy Life. Celebrate them and Celebrate Birthdays! Life is for living 💖💃🎉

Chive continues to be a fully satisfying stop with their twist on International cuisine stemming from unique seasoning and added herbs, of course including Chive.
Chive Restaurant supports fellow local businesses and was a sponsor for Suga Lifestyle’s Christmas Connection. A lucky Suga Bear, Carolyn Reid walked away with a Dinner for 2 valued at $10000 from signing up her Suga Bear Card at the gate!
