Yesterday was Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Day, but I don’t think most of us knew about it!

Calling on JAMPRO, our participating locations/brands to get us to #SiptheGreatest, embrace Brand Jamaica and have a productive 2022! Whether it is Coffee Roasters Jamaica (Ig:@coffeeroastersjamaica), Moy Hall Estate Coffee (Ig:@moyhallcoffee), 24 Seven Café at The Jamaica Pegasus, Ragamuffin Café, Rituals Coffee House, Stoneleigh Coffee (Ig:  @stoneleigh.coffee), Cafe Blue (Ig: @cafeblueja) or Jablum Coffee (Ig: @jablumcoffee), you name it!

We started our morning with JABLUM GOLD, then later in the afternoon after 4pm, why not have another cup?!

Most locations closed by then, but not Café Blue, Constant Spring. Thanks for my Mochaccino with Almond milk!

Where Are You Having Your Last Meal for 2021?!

Have you been to the fairly new Coppers Jamaica Restaurant (Ig: @thecoppersja) on Haining Road?

It was the last stop for hubby, Randy’s Restaurant Hopping Birthday Weekend.
We couldn’t get a reservation for the Saturday, so we went for Lunch on Monday, December 6th. You have to call ahead early for this spot Suga Bears.

Owner, Heather is back, but what we knew as Heather’s had to be revamped into what seemed to be a long time vision, Coppers.
Well executed. You have casual and formal dining options, outdoors and indoors respectively.

Our waitress was courteous & attentive throughout our stay.

They scored a fantastic Chef, Ramesh, who used to be at Cellar 8 in their early days. IYKYK. So the food was of course, spectactular.

Chef Ramesh’s seasoning and flavours are in a class by itself. I enjoyed the juicy Japanese Sticky Pork with Soya Ginger Greens & Basmati rice, while Randy fulfilled his Burger craving. If you have one, go for it! A Two Patty Smash Burger stuffed with crispy onion rings, served with seasoned fries.

It’s been too long. Props to Chef Christian Sweeney (Ig: @chefsweeney)
and his team. Perfectly cooked Steaks, great service and ambience topped off by ‘really good’ Dessert.

I don’t think I’ve heard it, but it needs to be said. Happy Hubby, Happy Life.

Filling, tasty & healthy all at the same time. Get your Pre-Christmas burn on. The Holidays are fast approaching and I’m sure we will celebrate whether we can afford to or not.

Last Sunday at Fromage Brasserie
in the The Market Place, I had the Grilled Salmon with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies.

I ditched the creamy sauce and requested a lemon sauce on the side. I didn’t get that, but the crusted almond topping was good enough for me.
