The Lions Club of Mona partnered with the Lions Club of New Kingston to observe Paediatric Cancer Awareness Month last September 26th by donating a wide range of reading, colouring and activity books to the patients at the Bustamante Hospital for Children. They spent time socializing and reading stories for the patients, which was much appreciated and enjoyed.
Kudos to the Lions Clubs for their good deeds!

Escoveitched Smoked Marlin from Holiday Inn Resort
Last week Saturday, August 24th,Suga Taster, Stephen Greig had the pleasure of attending The Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA) Montego Bay Chapter’s Celebration of Fine Jamaican Cuisines on the lawns of the Rose Hall Great House.
The food and wine pairing event is considered as one of the top culinary social events in Montego Bay and was well supported as expected. The event is also for a worthy cause, as proceeds go toward various Charities in Montego Bay, such as the SOS Children’s Village, Montego Bay Learning Centre and the Save the Child Programme.
The Great House was colourfully lit to enhance the ambience of this elite foodie affair and patrons could get a guided Night tour of the Great House. It is rumoured you have a greater chance of seeing the witch at night!

Kerryanne Croft of the Vitamin M box says trying to fit in is boring, create the change you want to see.
What’s the Vitamin M box?
Based in New Jersey, Kerryanne saw a lack of support and love for Black owned businesses. She wanted to change that, so The Vitamin M Subscription Box was born. M is for Melanin, the dark brown to black pigment occurring in our skin.
Vitamin M isn’t just a subscription box. It is a movement to not only support these substantial businesses, but to help build their communities and share their stories. The Vitamin M box delivers brands in the form of beauty, fashion, books, home and lifestyle produced by people of colour to your doorstep.
Every 3rd month, Kerryanne donates 10% of the proceeds to a charity/non-profit in the Black and Brown community.
Kerry believes we need to continue to highlight these entrepreneurs over businesses that don’t see or respect their shine.
