What was to be Breakfast turned out to be an early Lunch based on our time of arrival for the second Sunday of the New Year at Spiritz of Montego Bay (Ig: @spiritz_of_montego_bay) on Rose Hall Boulevard.
Loved the view and relaxed ambience. I saw the proper setting for good Vibez during Sports events, busy Fridays and Weekend nights.
Since I missed out on the Ackee, I had no idea what to order, but was not feeling their Yaad Stylz items of Jerked Chicken, Curried Goat etc. at 11am. So I set my eyes on the Conch Burger and was disappointed when they didn’t have it. I went with a pulled Chicken Burger. Hubby, Randy and the Williamses had the Escovitched Fish Burger and Stew Pork.
The Burgers were basic. Definitely not a Gourmet experience, but satisfactory. I regret not choosing one of the Yaad Stylz options, because I aint gonna lie, the Stew Pork looked juicy! Mrs. Diane Williams enjoyed it.
Anyhow, service was decent and it was a good stop before Beach Day.

The calm before the storm… The Pot a Bubble at Kingston Kitchen, the city is a hustle & a bustle and Carnival a come.
Remember to take a pause, apprecilove everything, change your strategy if you have to and reset. Whether it’s before during or after what keeps coming at you in life. Balance is key and always remember, Jamaica is not a Real Place, it’s an Experience😃

I had so many beautiful moments to put together that were captured and experienced at Charela Inn.
An aged, but well kept family-owned boutique hotel located on Negril’s famous Seven Mile Beach with airy rooms leading to beach views.
Lush, tropical gardens surround their round swimming pool and they have endless Coconut trees providing natural shade on the beach. Just beautiful.
Charela Inn has long standing, friendly staff, experienced bartenders and fresh, homemade cuisine. Vegetables, spices and meat come from their own farm! We enjoyed our typical eggs your way Breakfast and the morning we had Jamaican Breakfast, it was quite satisfying. What a wholesome plate 😋
Their meals are a fusion of Jamaican and French cuisine, representing the owners and I must say, their French Pizza gave the Italians a run for their money. Fantastic!
We would have loved to experience more of their French cuisine at Dinner, but we explored other spots on the beach. So next time! See you again soon Charela Inn!
For my Kingstonian fam, it’s not the journey, it’s the destination. Suga Tip: Leave town early in the morning on the way to and from Negril and restaurant hop in Ocho Rios, Montego Bay or both!
