Suga visited the Award-Winning Kamila’s Kitchen (Ig: @kamilaskitchen_ja) at their New Location in the Marketplace in her celebratory month of June and it did not disappoint!
The Restaurant was full and the Service was quick.
Being a creature of habit sometimes, I went for my favourite, the Glow Bowl, which had a special spin on it that day, where Fricasse Mushroom was the highlight! A burst of colours and flavours. I can’t believe it’s Vegetarian!
To make things complete, I had Fruits my way with their delish, satisfying Very Berry Smoothie.
As the kids head back to school, take advantage of feeding their brains with WellFit Foods and Wellness (Ig: @wellgoodja) products available at Kamila’s Kitchen, MarketPlace… Spicy Vegan Cheese, Coconut Yogurt and Walnut Lentil Meat!
Create your own version of Kamila’s Kitchen’s Best New Gastronomy Experience in your homes and feel Guilt-Free.
Also, for a Back to School Relief Weekend, head up to their Skyline Levels location next Saturday, September 14 for Restaurant Round Robin! Make your Reservations. Call +1 876-671-2336.
The Craveable, Plant-based, Dairy- Free, JAMAICAN Kamila’s Kitchen continues to be #SugaEndorsed

At the end of June just before Hurricane Beryl hit, we enjoyed an R&R weekend at Rafjam West (Ig: @rafjamwest) in Whitehouse, Westmoreland, quite close to Ivy’s Cove.
Though the house has about 3 or 4 rooms, we had the place to ourselves that weekend with a pool, bar and a private beach. The place was brand new, with tasteful, modern furnishings and all the amenities needed. Thankfully, it was not affected by the hurricane. Unfortunately, just a few trees came down.
Our meals were cooked to order. We enjoyed our Jamaican breakfast, Curried Chicken and Steamed Fish for lunch. Less options available, but the same high standard as that of Raf Jam in Irish Town, Kingston. Delicious.
We didn’t get a chance to visit the bar across the water that looked like a decent lyme, but next time.Â
We visited Luna Sea Inn (also ok after the Hurricane) for dinner by the sea one night, which had great service. Our Steaks were delectable and the bartender was awesome.
We stopped by Cloggy’s on the Beach (Current operations unknown), on our way back and had tasty Curried Shrimp and Conch. A bit of a wait, but we weren’t in a rush. We chatted and enjoyed the the seaside view from our table, not venturing off near the water where there may be gators!
We enjoyed a quiet, scenic getaway weekend and happily recommend Rafjam West to your family and friends.

It’s been a busy year, but Suga still makes her foodie rounds, especially to a few new spots!
Ahmeraki Cafe (Ig: @ahmerakicafe) opened earlier this summer. We visited mid July and need to go back!
Comfy, cosy cafe with artwork in arched walls, serving local JABLUM Coffee!
Courteous and attentive staff with tasty food for a quick, simple breakfast or lunch. I enjoyed my Salmon bagel and appreciated that though simple, they took pride in its presentation.
Overdue to revisit this one, by Constant Spring Golf Club.
Have a great start to your week Suga Fam!

After a great day of Labour Day Shopping in Montego Bay last Saturday with Suga Lifestyle, it was all about Lucca Italian Restaurant (Ig: @luccaitalianrestaurant) for the win!
So happy we finally got to visit.
Lucca Italian Restaurant is in The Annex Plaza Fairview, MoBay which is fairly modern, but inside the Restaurant gives you Old Tavern.
Our Server, Lawry was a breath of fresh air after a long day. She knew the menu and her wine cellar inside out, mixed great Cocktails and managed to be professional, but gave us a few laughs at the same time.
Hubby had the Rosse Pasta (US$12.60), which was an interesting, but tasty mix of a tomato sauce and a cream sauce with Shrimp and I thoroughly enjoyed the Chef’s Special Risotto with shrimp (US$20.60).
Authentic Italian with excellent service and affordable prices. We would definitely revisit Lucca Italian Restaurant. #SugaEndorsed

TGIF was an understatement. Thank you Rainforest Caribbean and the Award-Winning Chef Volae Williams and his team at ROK Hotel Kingston by the ROKStone Grill for a spectacular Seafood Buffet Experience spanning about 7 stations.
– My targeted, ‘meaty’ Jerked Octopus with adequate heat from scotch bonnet citrus herbed butter – Hubby’s fave, Ceviche by the Raw Bar was on point – Enjoyable selection of traditional and Jamaican rolls by the Sushi and Nigiri station – The Mixed Seafood Pasta! I’m gonna tell you about it! – The Strawberry Macaroons and rich Chocolate Log Cake were perfection. Definitely worth the calories.
Chef Volae told Suga they made a special effort to bring out the taste of the flavour of Rainforest Caribbean’s Seafood and of course you can’t do that by piling on a sauce. So hubby and I definitely appreciated their mixed seafood tossed in fettuccine with sundried tomatoes in a very light Mondavi Wine, butter and garlic sauce. Surely the Fit Happens with Gabby way. Nailed it!
All you can eat for J$10,000 with a live band and wait staff that we gave an A for effort. This experience was definitely value for money, especially as we continuously strive to revive Downtown, Kingston.
Same time, same place each month Chef Volae, ROK Hotel Kingston and Rainforest Caribbean? We’ll see!
XoXo, Suga
