Happy Monday! Start the week off right and check out the NEW Veganly Vegetarian Cafe !
They just opened last Monday & Suga visited last Thursday in their compact, cosy spot tucked away in Seymour Park Business Complex on Old Hope Road.
Hospitable Owner, Nadene McKay wasn’t joking when she said her Ackee Patty sells like hot bread, then it end up tyin’ me like a good stew peas.
Of course the crust is healthy, made of Amaranth, Cornmeal and Spelt Flour. Also, I love when Ackee has a little seasoning and isn’t oily.
I had tasty, Vegetable Lentil Soup to round it off as a meal and I was fully satisfied. (Total spent: J$850)
Can’t wait to try one of Veganly Vegetarian Cafe’s hot meals soon!
Menu changes daily and they have natural Juices, Wraps and Salads too. Cards accepted and Delivery will soon be sorted.

If you don’t like eating your Veggies, there is no excuse. Simply have them blended! Naturally sweeten with fruits, spice it up with a little ginger and add a dash of tang with Lime or Lemon Juice.
Try PRESS’s Young, Fresh & Green Smoothie with spinach, pineapple, banana, ginger, lemon juice (ask for minus the mango!) Or the Kale’ em with Greens Smoothie minus the mango too, with kale, apple, banana, pineapples, lemon juice, ginger and cucumber. They’re delish!

Remember Fruits are considered as a Snack! Incorporate them into your daily meal plan.
If you don’t like eating Fruits, blend them with some ice and have a Smoothie! Add some grains such as Flax seeds, Chia Seeds, Sunflower seeds, pour in a bit of Almond Milk and it’s a Meal!
