Tailored Jamaican is Saturday, October 28 at The Jamaica Pegasus from 10AM – 7PM Fashion Show at 3PM; Entry: J$2500 (Kids Free)
This year, we have an exciting, bold vision for corporate wear aligned with key trends accelerated by the COVID pandemic, chief among them being the growing flexibility to work from home, the office, and even in between the office and corporate mixers with versatile wear. Our new reality presents a golden opportunity to re-imagine corporate wear, but it has also blurred the lines between fashion forward corporate and professional faux pas.
Tailored Jamaican stands at this important cross section for companies deciding on the future of corporate wear for their people. Our event will highlight fashion from a thoughtful selection of artisans, showcasing handcrafted, handmade, and locally designed items unique to their own craft.
For five years, Suga Lifestyle has been dedicated to promoting talented local entrepreneurs and MSMEs, including our own GW ART brand, and bridging the gap between MSMEs poised for growth and wider market opportunities. We achieve this through pop-up events and expos. In October 2021, we held our premiere of Tailored Jamaican at The Jamaica Pegasus to great success. Hosted on the same, popular, island wide shopping weekend, we empowered local artisans with the opportunity to showcase and sell their products under one roof. Last year, celebrity guest Cedric the Entertainer made a special appearance to watch the fashion show and shop Jamaican.
This year’s Fashion Show will feature talented designers seeking opportunities to expand their footprint in the market, to create and display fashion-forward corporate wear that demonstrates their skill and keen sense of style. Designs from their fall collection will also hit the runway.
Come and connect with our artistic vendors, network with business leaders and socialise with family and friends. With your support, our ability to impact our creative industry will be elevated. All while being exposed to the Suga Lifestyle curated experience of enjoying beverages, tasty bites and shopping.

If you don’t know by now, PRESS Cafe (Ig: @pressshopco) is one of Suga’s favourite spots.
Great service and consistency with good food quality and I love a place that’s always CLEAN.
They cater to Vegans and if you haven’t tried Brunch yet at their 76 RHR Business Centre location by Red Hills Road, give it a go!
I suggest calling ahead. The food is prepared fresh, so done to order and you can dine in a comfy environment.
Lots of parking available too.
Looking forward to the new Cocktail menu though, because Suga Loves her Cocktails.
Have a Great Weekend!

Thanks so much Carlos Maxbrown for hosting me and hubby for my Birthday Dinner. Yall know when it’s JUNE, I celebrate all Month!
I was delighted to close out Gemini Season at TRIO – One of the best outdoor spots in Kingston for a date night, special occasion or even just casual lunch and dinner. Suga has done it all there and I’ve never been disappointed.
They take their time with service, but the ambience is just right especially at night and when the food arrives, “yuh belly feel arite”.
Whether Seafood, Meats or Both are your fave, kudos to their Chef for mastering them all. They do a killer Surf and Turf and I celebrated Gemini Season with their succulent and sufficiently sized Lamb Chops.
They left me yearning for that Chargrilled Octopus Appetizer though, so I am definitely returning for that soon.
Their Wine List is extensive and is perfect for pairing. Bottle Service is also available in a private section if you are taking your special occasion dining to the next level.
Check out TRIO Grill Wine Bar ! They continue to be #SugaEndorsed.
Cheers to another Weekend!

From Shanique Cathey (Ig: @a_shans_life) on Suga Lifestyle’s Art and Lifestyle Expo Launch on August 18 at the AC Hotel Kingston :
“A night of art and sophistication. I am always so proud to see all the great changes happening in Jamaica as we continue to grow with style and grace. In the words of my childhood classmate “Jamaica is so much more than reggae colors!” @sugalifestyle this was a beautiful event. Thank you for the invite and showing the world what Jamaica has to offer. We are excellence. #jamaicanart #jamaicancuisine #Jamaicanculture”
Shanique took time out from her trip back to Jamaica to Support her fellow alma mater a.k.a childhood classmate 🙂 (Go Immaculate!) and Jamaica Land We Love. Thank You, Blessings and One Love Shanique!

Suga Lifestyle’s Art and Lifestyle Expo Launch held over a week ago highlighted Suga Lifestyle’s GW Art pictured, and our promotion of local businesses and entrepreneurs, with a focus on the Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (MSME) sector, showcasing Art, Fashion, Food and Lifestyle.
However, as with most of our Events, another observation was highlighted by our Keynote Speaker, Senator the Honourable, Aubyn Hill. Though a few male vendors were showcased, vendors were predominantly female, also highlighting the critical role of Women and their contribution to the Creative Industry and Commerce, which remains vital to the stimulation of our economy.
We Empower MSMEs, but have to give kudos to and showcase that the the driving force behind the majority of the Businesses we select, happen to be Women. That says a lot in 2023. Is the World Ready?
