Gabby from Suga Lifestyle would like to thank everyone who supported, spread the word and expressed admiration for GW Art’s booth at The Hub Coworking’s TSO Pop-Up Shop yesterday.

It was lovely to see persons having a hard choice deciding which piece or pieces they liked more in order to buy. Persons’ taste in Art vary on a wide scale. GW Art ensured there was something for everyone with a mix of Abstract, Graphic, Modern and Jamaican Art.

The New Collection of Table/Desktop pieces (acrylic on canvas) suitable for Home and Office decor were up for grabs and have been added to the GW Art Gallery on the right toolbar of www.sugalifestyle.com. They are great for persons that may not have space for big pieces and for persons that just would like something reasonable and unique for themselves or for gifts.

GW Art has also ventured into Craft items since early 2016, such as Decorative bottles, jars and other items.

Janielle Johnson enjoyed getting her Decorative bottles that went well together as a pair.  The crafty additions to the bottles were included.

GW Art also does commissioned pieces for persons who have difficulty getting their hands on what they desire for their decor.

Brighten your spirit and surroundings with GW Art!

Last night was the Tip off for the 2016-2017 NBA Season!

The Cavs got their Championship banner raised for the first time last night and routed the Knicks 117-88.

LeBron James scored a triple double that included 19 points, but it was Kyrie Irving who was their highest scorer with 29.

The Golden State Warriors’ ‘Super team’ was in action versus the San Antonio Spurs but did not look so super. They still don’t have anyone to defend in the paint especially since they traded Bogut! Not a good look with all eyes on them since they got KD.

The Spurs destroyed them with Kawhi Leonard scoring 35 points.

The result?

I love this Game!

Remembering Basil ‘Shotgun’ Williams

Basil ‘Shotgun’ Williams played 7 tests for the West Indies between 1978 and 1979, that included two entertaining centuries. He had an impressive test average of 39.08 and an average of 36.02 in the regional first class game.

He continued with his career in local cricket, including his Captaincy of the Jamaica Cricket team.

HOME AND HAPPY: Jamaica’s victorious cricket team returned home on March 12, 1984 after their thrilling win over the Leeward Island in the Geddes Grant/ Harrison Line Limited over competition in Antigua last Saturday. Photo shows captain Basil Williams with the prized trophy (centre) and manager Bill Bennett (second left).

Shotgun retired from the Jamaica team in 1986 on a high note and remained involved in the sport as a Selector, Board member, Team manager and of course had a few knocks in Club Cricket before he migrated to the US.

Basil ‘Shotgun’ Williams died of a heart attack in Atlanta, Georgia on this day last year, October 2015.

Remembering you always, CAP.

Who won the 3rd and Final US Presidential Debate?

Photo: CNN

Donald Trump started the 3rd and final US Presidential debate in a calm tone and was able to deliver a few blows. For instance, stating that President Obama has deported more people than any other President in history. But after about 45 minutes, Truth Trump came out. He started to take the bait from Hillary again, failed to just let things go, lost his cool and ultimately lost the debate.

The statements Trump made last night to further harm his campaign?

He refused to say he will accept election results and during one of Hillary’s statements he interrupted and called her a ‘Nasty woman’.

May God Bless America…in a bigly way.

If you haven’t seen this yet, Suga would like to make you aware of the correct information about a possible Coal fired Power Plant negotiation with the Chinese in Jamaica.

A voicenote has been circulating on Whatsapp this month about having this kind of Power Plant in Jamaica and the effects.

The Jamaica Environment Trust (JET) clarified some of the statements made on the voicenote in their new fact sheet, which can be found at the following link ***(Also on their Facebook page, Jamaica Environment Trust):

After reading all the necessary information it is clear that there will be various negative effects on our health if such a Plant is put in place.

So we need to make our voices heard. Please sign the following petition to #SayNOtoCoalJA. We have over a 1000 signatures to go:
