Marin Cilic victorious winning his first Grand Slam 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 at Flushing Meadows yesterday
Cilic from Croatia and Nishikori from Japan will face each other in the US Open 2014 Men’s final at 5:00pm today. Neither of them are seeded in the top 10 and they are both looking to win their 1st Grand Slam Singles Title. Who will win and what are the odds? SuGa puts its money on Cilic.
Congratulations to Serena Williams on not only her 3rd straight US Open title, winning 6-3, 6-3 over Caroline Wozniacki, but her 18th Grand Slam Singles title joining the greats Chris Evert and Martina Navratalova with the 4th most major titles in history.
Serena won 4 million dollars in total cash money and was presented with a bracelet from Tiffany’s by Evert and Navratalova for joining them on her 18th. She will now look to continue to charge up that ladder.
Surely an emotional win for Serena.
With Serena Williams looking to win her 18th Grand Slam singles title and Caroline Wozniacki looking to win her 1st, the crowd should be in for a huge treat today with spectacular tennis.

Joan Rivers who started the Trademark Red Carpet Question, ‘What are you wearing?’, went to do a simple in and out endoscopy procedure on her throat last week and went into an unexpected Cardiac Arrest. She was hospitalised for the last 8 days and put on life support. Her family made the tough decision of ending that today and now the comedian we all know is gone at the age of 81.
Friday nights definitely will not be the same for many, familiarly know as ‘Joan Rangers’ who watch Fashion Police on E!, as well as the Mondays after Sunday Award shows. She will be absolutely irreplaceable.
