I am sure everyone can agree that last night’s fight exceeded our expectations in terms of how competitive it was.
Conor McGregor started off strong as expected and took the first 3 rounds. The 4th round was close but went to Mayweather.
We all know that if it went beyond 4 rounds for the UFC fighter, he would become vulnerable and was more likely to lose. That was a reality, as it all went downhill for him from the 5th round. There was loss of movement in the legs and obvious signs of fatigue. But he hung in there quite well until the Ref stopped the fight and Mayweather beat him in the 10th round.
Congrats to Mayweather! The Money Man added about £78.5/US$100 million to his pocket. He also co-promoted the event with the UFC, so he is may earn over £230m from the event!

The MONEY Fight is only ONE Day away!
The undefeated, 40 year old Floyd Mayweather that has come out of retirement
vs.
UFC Flag bearer and two-weight Champion, Conor McGregor
aka
DEFENSE VS. POWER
Place, Time and Channel
The multi-million dollar fight will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Showtime starts at 9pm for local folks on FOX Premium for both DigiPLAY and FLOW. The other channels showing the Fight such as Showtime etc. are likely to be blocked. So if you don’t have it, you need to subscribe or catch it online and stream it to your Tv.
Pre-Fight Drama
The experts do not expect the Fight to be competitive but Irish man, Conor McGregor who has a history of winning by early K.Os, has built up quite the anticipation with a lot of confidence going into the fight. He surely has done his marketing job.
Tempers have been flaring because McGregor expected to do a face-off like the fighters who will be going on before them, but that did not happen. So when McGregor saw Mayweather he asked him if he was afraid. Then there was apparently an exchange of words and a lot of pushing and shoving.
The Weigh In
Both will do their Weigh In this afternoon at 3pm! Mayweather thinks McGregor will miss the light-middle weight limit of 154. Mayweather chooses his opponents carefully and pays attention to their camp to remain undefeated. So according to him and his sources, McGregor was 10 pounds over the weight limit just 3 or so days ago. McGregor and his trainers are not worried and think he will hit within the weight limit with regards to their formula and how his weight has been in the past.
Not to worry though. If he misses the weight limit, the fight is still ON! But McGregor will face a hefty fine.
They will be playing with lighter gloves and McGregor thinks it will be to his advantage. He says he will knock Mayweather out in 2 Rounds now instead of 4!
What are the ODDS?!
Vegas Experts have Mayweather to win by Decision since it is likely he will follow his usual strategy of boxing defensively early. Once he takes the fight deep, McGregor normally becomes vulnerable as he tires.
The ODDS ranging in Vegas for McGregor to win are 33-40/1 and 20-25 for Mayweather to win.
Who’s your MONEY on?!
Enjoy and Please Drink Responsibly.

Two weekends ago, it was all about the Canadian Food Truck Festival at the Espanade Park in Ontario. The Festival lasted from August 11-13, where the park was fully transformed into Foodie Heaven with 32 Food trucks, Music including Live Entertainment and a Children’s Village.
Suga Bear, Madeline Bayliss aka Auntie Mads aka ‘Jamaican Chiney that can cook and bake’ went to the Festival and had a ball.
Her ultimate faves were the Ice Cream at Chimneys and the Crab Cakes from Naansense that also does Fusion Indian.
The Crab Cakes were freshly made and served with a Chili Lime Rojo dipping sauce and Guacomole with a side of Spinach salad.
She said the Chimneys’ Ice Cream was amazing. They had freshly baked cinnamon sugar cones with smooth ice cream filled with apple granola crumble and chunks of apple pie, topped with salted caramel. Mmmmm!
According to Auntie Mads, the cone was like a pastry, freshly baked like a pie crust.
They had other Ice Cream flavours such as Chocolate and Caramel Smores and more!
Check out Chimneys’ Store locations on their website, www.originalchimneys.com. You can also follow them on Instagram, @ogchimneys.
Don’t worry my TDot Suga Bears, if you missed this one, there is still a chance to catch it in a city near you.
The next Canadian Food Truck Fair will be held at:
Location: Richmond Green Park
1300 Elgin Mills Road E,
Richmond Hill, ON
September 2: Noon – 8pm
September 3: Noon – 8pm

For a while now, the addition of Coconut Oil to your diet has been a hot topic.
A paragraph from a Document released by the ‘American Heart Association’s Presidential Advisory entitled ‘Dietary Fats and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD)’, states that, ‘because Coconut Oil increases LDL cholesterol, a cause of CVD and has no known offsetting favorable effects, we advise against the use of Coconut Oil’.
Choosing a Vegetable oil over Coconut oil, butter or lard was the most important recommendation and that is Suga endorsed.
You cannot expect that oil so cloudy at room temperature, that also forms a solid layer in the fridge is good for you. That happens with Coconut Oil.
Coconut Oil is considered to be a Saturated fat, which is a ‘bad fat’. Other ‘bad fats’ or fatty oils to be mindful of are Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil.
Ensure that you read the ingredients of your Chips. Sometimes what may be advertised as healthy, for instance, Kettle Cooked Chips, may not be so healthy after all. If you read the list of ingredients, you may see cooked or fried in Palm oil or Palm Kernel oil close to the end, which cannot be good.
The good oils to use when cooking are Olive Oil and Vegetable Oils.
Olive Oil is best. Affordable brands and small sizes are now available in our local supermarkets, such as Ybarra Olive Oil.
Vegetable Oils usually consist of a mixture of Sunflower, Safflower and Soybean Oils. Of course, Vegetable oils are available in abundance for great prices.
Check your labels and do not be a victim of the ‘hype’.
Coconut Oil is great for other things like your hair and skin, but not your kitchen.
Have a Healthy Day!

The World Championships in London are now over but there are so many moments to reflect on. The meet was filled with surprises, disappointments, upsets, drama and triumphs.
Thanks to everyone who enjoyed tuning in to Suga Lifestyle’s updates on Facebook and the Website.
Here are Suga’s 17 Memorable Moments from World Champs London 2017:
1. USAIN BOLT loses his last 100m individual race, getting the Bronze but JUSTIN GATLIN WINS!
2. MOHAMED FARAH aka Mobot of Great Britain wins Gold in the Men’s 10000m! He was going for his 5th double before retirement but fell short, getting the Silver in the 5000m. He will remain a Legend of the sport and a video tribute was played for him.
3. USA’s TORIE BOWIE wins the Women’s 100m thriller with Elaine Thompson of Jamaica nowhere in sight and edged out Ivory Coast’s Marie Josée’s Ta Lou, who failed to dip at the line. Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands got the Bronze.
4. OMAR McLEOD wins Gold for Jamaica in the Men’s 110m Hurdles after a disappointing show for Jamaica in the Men’s and Women’s 100m.
5. RIO Olympic Champ, Kenya’s FAITH KIPYEGON won the Women’s 1500m with Genzebe Dibaba nowhere in sight and another favourite, Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands finished 5th.
Caster Simenya of South Africa, who entered the event for the first time, took the Bronze.
6. YULIMAR ROJAS of Venezuela won the Women’s Triple Jump in an exciting jump off versus the RIO Olympic Champion and her rival, Caterine Ibarguen of Colombia.
7. PHYLLIS FRANCIS of the USA won the Women’s 400m in her PB, as Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas tightened, failing to medal and her compatriot and favourite to win, Allyson Felix faded on the stretch.
8. Jamaica’s DANNIEL THOMAS-DODD was in the Bronze medal position of the Women’s Shot Put before the last throw, but ended up finishing 4th. Great achievement for Jamaica.
9. Jamaica’s RISTANANNA TRACEY won the Bronze medal in the Women’s 4×400m Hurdles in her PB!
10. The animated, KARSTEN WARHOLM of Norway won Gold in the Men’s 400m Hurdles upsetting USA’s Kerron Clement.
11. DAFNE SCHIPPERS of the Netherlands defended her Title for the Women’s 200m passing Ivory Coast’s Marie Josée Ta Lou before the line. Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas had a strong finish but could not recover from a bad start and curve and got the Bronze.
12. RAMIL GULIYEV of Turkey who has been in the game for a while, not only finally got on the podium, but won Gold in the Men’s 200m. He prevented South Africa’s Wayde Van Niekerk from winning the 400m-200m double. Van Niekerk got the Silver. Trinidad and Tobago’s Jereem Richards finished with the Bronze.
13. SALLY PEARSON (past Olympic and World Champion) at 30 years old, had a fairytale ending, winning Gold in the Women’s 100m Hurdles after suffering from 2 years of injuries.
14.  GREAT BRITAIN Men’s 4×100m team struck Gold as their anchor leg runner, Mitchell-Blake passed USA’s Christian Coleman before the line and Usain Bolt of Jamaica pulled up shortly after receiving the baton. They achieved the win in European record time.
15. USAIN BOLT’s 4×100m teammates gathered around him after an agonizing fall to the ground from pulling up on the final leg. The race was run about 15 minutes after the scheduled time and the athletes were all ready waiting in the cold as IAAF did Mo Farah’s tribute and medal ceremonies. This could have been the reason for Bolt cramping or injuring himself.
It was hard for everyone to watch the Champ and Legend go out like that for his final race. He still wanted to finish the race and they all helped him hop to the finish line.
16. TRINIDAD and TOBAGO’s (T&T’s) 4×400m Men’s team upset the USA and won Gold! Lalonde Gordon of T&T swept past Fred Kerley of the USA on the final stretch in the last lap of the relay. Brilliant run.
17. USAIN BOLT was given a send off at the end of the Championships, where a packed stadium stayed to give thanks to him for doing so much for the sport.
He was given a gift from IAAF, a part of the track from which he created history in Olympics London 2012.
Usain bolt did not want to end his career on a bad note, but remember Muhammad Ali lost his last fight. He was not all smiles, but you could see the different emotions he felt as he held back tears at one point while walking his last lap around the track. He took a bow at his last competitive Track & Field event.
THANKS USAIN! You will remain a Legend forever in not only Athletics but Sports in general.
WE WILL MISS YOU!
