Craft Cart Jamaica is a locally based organization with the sole aim of promoting our local artisans and their craft to the rest of the world. Craft Cart believes that our artists are some of the best this world has to offer, where their precision, passion, craft and true excellence are unrivaled. Craft Cart also believes that our art has the ability to sculpt a nation and it will do so through their platform, one story at a time.
Like Suga Lifestyle, in the past few months, Craft Cart has shared the work of many of our talented artisans on Social Media via their Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as their website. However, on Saturday, April 13th at Campion College Auditorium from 10am to 6pm, they will be hosting their 1st trade show, ‘Pop-Up Craft Village’ with over 50 local artisans! Suga is always in support of genuine efforts to support and market Brand Jamaica.
The entry cost is $200JMD, where part proceeds will go towards the Jamaica Autism Support Association (JASA).
Suga Lifestyle will have a booth with the Rotaract Club of New Kingston presenting the artwork of ‘Phenomenal Women United’. Stay tuned to hear about this initiative.
Please Save the Date and get ready to view the works of talented Jamaican Artisans and Buy Local. 🇯🇲
Non-profit organization, New Kingston Rotaract Club (Youth arm of Rotary) is having their annual Wing Sauce Competition this Saturday, March 30th by the Mona Dam. Like last year, they are having a Farmer’s Market too, encouraging us to eat healthy and buy our local produce, while contributing to charity at the same time. It’s a win-win for everyone.
Judging and sampling usually takes place at about 2:30/3:00pm. Suga will be judging again!
Then you can head down to the National Stadium to watch our very own young athletes put on quite a show at Champs! The writing is on the wall for the Girls with Edwin Allen, but for the Boys, will KC beat Calabar this year as they seem to be in position to do, or did they peak too early in the season?
Keep up with Suga Lifestyle’s Facebook and Instagram Page to keep updated with Champs and keep up with the New Kingston Rotaract Club by following them on Instagram @nkrcjamaica. If you are between the ages of 18-30, see how you can join them!

Did you know?!
Did you know that founder and owner of Island Grill, Thalia Lyn, is a past student of Immaculate? A true representation of Mac Girl Magic.
Over the years, past Immaculate ladies have excelled in various fields such as Business and Commerce, Law, Medicine, Volunteerism, Education, the Arts and more.
For the Hall of Fame, nominees were chosen according to who stood out in the categories mentioned, i.e. excelling in their field. Nominees should have made a significant impact to the economy or culture locally and internationally, while being role models, leaving legacies well documented for the next generation.
Please show your support to these phenomenal women that are the 2019 Hall of Fame Nominees by purchasing tickets to the Hall of Fame Banquet.
This year the ICHS Alumnae will honour:
