Merrrry Christmas Suga Fam!

It has been a busy season for Suga Lifestyle, executing the Christmas Connection series and new Weekly Wednesday Night Shopping Experience, B A S E at Janga’s Sound Bar and Grill with success. Suga Lifestyle connected you to over 60 selected local businesses in the Creative Industry and by extension our Agricultural and Cultural Industries; assisting artisans with recovery, uplifting communities in the interest of rebuilding, all while serving as your favourite 1-stop Christmas Shop.

Scores of patrons eagerly attended the flagship staging at The Jamaica Pegasus on December 6 and 7. They experienced an eclectic mix of Award-Winning, innovative, enthusiastic Artisans, topped off by unforgettable samples of AU Trading’s authentic ‘Grandma style’ Sorrel Liqueur and more, CrEATe & Co.’s Scotch Bonnet Sauce on sausages and Nations Choice succulent Ham and the best Coffee beyond compare, JABLUM Coffee.

Title Sponsor, Manpower & Maintenance Services Sales and Distribution Ltd. had many patrons happily leaving with their cleaning product bundle packages that were on Special.

First timer, Likkle Bliss Ltd. stunned patrons with her signature Cinnamon rolls and was sold out. Roar I Organics brought in from Gutters, St. Elizabeth had the opportunity to introduce his natural green juices, teas, tonics and cleansers. He returned to Suga Lifestyle’s New B A S E at Janga’s two weeks later and anticipates many returns to Suga Lifestyle’s events in the new year.

The family-friendly event had kids playing in the snow with Santa on the Terrace in a Kids Interactive Village by Bear Tingz Jamaica.

We were happy to see the Terrace full of activity and were especially grateful for all who donated to the Toy Drive by the Kids Village and for all who came out to Yoga for Charity, which was filled to capacity. Proceeds from the flagship staging at The Jamaica Pegasus, in addition to the Holiday Rush Edition, sponsored by The Liguanea Club, allowed Suga Lifestyle to add 6 major project donations to ongoing relief efforts since the passing of Hurricane Melissa. As persons affected in the West seek shelter, many have found their way to Kingston, doubling the number of residents in particular at The Marie Atkins Night Shelter in Downtown, Kingston.

Approaching almost 100 residents at each facility, Marie Atkins, The Golden Age Homes in Denham Town and Cluster F in Vineyard Town were treated with food and beverages, toiletries, clothing and medical supplies, also aided by The Prudential Foundation, National Bakery and Ayrtons Distributors Ltd. Hundreds of Snacks by National Bakery were sent to Min. Floyd Green’s collection point at The Summit for Relief Items going to St. Elizabeth as well as to The Belmont Academy in Westmoreland with The Rotary Club of Downtown, Kingston. Toys will go to the Mervis Braham Childcare Facility in St. James and Pringles Home in St. Mary, for the kids to look forward to enjoying this Christmas.
