#tbtAug2015 at Stush in the Bush Moonlight IYKYK… Honoured to be a part of the Journey!

…Stumbled upon this photo searching for something in my Google Drive.

My late Dad who lived in Atlanta enjoyed reading my Restaurant Reviews and Culinary Experiences.

As I saved the screenshot from September 3, in addition to a publication with me featured in The Jamaica Observer who covered the 2nd Moonlight staging, and a link to read my review on my website, it was the last pic I shared with him over Google Talk. He said “Wonderful. Go Girl, Love”

A Memorable Moment in more ways than one.

Visit Stush in the Bush (Ig: @stushinthebush) in Priory, St. Ann, where the experience no longer costs US$80 :), but you will be taken on a journey through food, where Love is the main ingredient. An invaluable experience that you will gladly relive over and over again.

*Reservations/by Bookings only via their website*

Almost March & You still haven’t gotten it Together?! It’s not too late…At least I hope not.

Where is the Time Going?! It clearly isn’t waiting on anyone. Better Late than never they say. Everything happens in its own time for a reason. God is Good…All the time.

After a Year like last year, I am so Grateful, but I feel like I need the energy & a tonne of direction to make this year just as great or even greater. “Pressure is a Privilege” –
Billie Jean King.

So happy I invested in Erica Donaldson’s “The Mission Business Planner” to keep me accountable for accomplishing my tasks, keeping focused, acknowledging daily challenges, but memorable and grateful moments too. Not to mention….Total Spent & Total Collected each day! 🙂

On a Mission fellow Boss Ladies? Take full control of your year, get The Mission Biz Planner (Ig: @themissionbizplanner) and make your daily entries.

Have a Great, Productive Day!

TGIF! Lose Touch of Reality and See Where the Food Needed No Filter

In case you didn’t know, one of our favourite Restaurant and Bar spots in Kingston 8 is back! The New Cellar 8 Wine. Bar.Bistro (Ig: @cellar8kgn) in Upper Manor Park Plaza has reopened for a bit over a month now. Happy to revisit one of my old faves last Sunday, not much has changed and that’s a good thing. Though we will share a love letter re the table setting, the Décor was spruced up a bit, still modern with a balance of black and white and pops of colour. I always loved the flooring and there’s still a touch of wooden furnishing to give an ounce of Vintage Cellar.

Yashema was our courteous server. She took care of us well and was excited to share that our Dessert’s cream wasn’t as calorific because, fun fact: It was Yam Cream! Who would have thought?!

As I sipped my Manhattan, we enjoyed,

– Jerk Beef Kofta – Well seasoned, Flavourful
– Caesar Caprese – Delish! Especially for a Salad
– Petite Fillet (Temp – MR) – Perfection
– Pan Seared Lamb Farci (Temp-MR)- Perfection
– Bread Pudding with Yellow Yam Cream!
I still love my Bread Pudding fluffier with a crumble on top, but this was uniquely tasteful

Would love to people-watch more Diners though, so head to The New Cellar 8 and check it out! Their Menu is online. Looking forward to returning and having the Sweet Potato Crusted Salmon and I would love them to consider putting their NYE Special of Ribeye Steak on the menu for the Steak Lovers.

Have a Great Weekend!

XoXo, Suga
