Throwback Thursday (#tbt) to Suga Lifestyle Charities and Rotaract Club of New Kingston donating Neonatal SpO2 Sensors to the Spanish Town Hospital in St. Catherine that turned 70 last year June.
The Sensors were handed over by Gabrielle Burgess, Director of Suga Lifestyle Charities Ltd. and President of Rotaract Club of New Kingston, Horace Collins on Tuesday, April 18th to CEO, Ms. Jacqueline Ellis and Dr. Tracia James Powell, Consultant in charge of the Special Care Nursery.
The Nellcor Oximax Neonatal SpO2 Sensors donated, have high accuracy in the clinical evaluation of blood oxygen levels in Neonates.
Dr. Powell stated that disposable Sensors and Circuits that connect to the various machines used in the Nursery are always needed. They were very appreciative to receive them and also stated that Neonatal Care is expensive.
This Project was executed as a result of Part Proceeds from Suga Lifestyle’s Christmas Connection, since Suga Lifestyle Charities focuses on advancing Health Care and Education. Our Children are Our Future and we are forever grateful for your support at our events.
