#tbt to my Healthy Jerk Chicken Hawaiian Salad from PRESS Cafe!

Last week, I had my daily quota of greens and a serving of protein with PRESS Cafe’s tasty Jerk Chicken Hawaiian Salad for J$1100 with jerk chicken, romaine lettuce, corn, pineapples, tomatoes, red & yellow bell peppers, onions. I opted for no sauce, but they have the healthy option of an olive oil based vinaigrette instead of salad dressing.

I also had the Firm-end Power Punch (Lite) along with it for J$850 with almonds, peanuts, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins, banana, oats and almond milk. *I removed the peanut butter, but it was still full of fibre and delish, completing my meal, leaving me fully satisfied.

Sometimes All You Need is a Little Callaloo to Become a Healthier You

Season up your Callaloo with Black pepper, a little Garlic powder, then cook it up with some salt fish and tomatoes and you’re good to go!

If you need to have Carbs, have Good Carbs like our good old Ground Provisions in small portions such as a small piece of sweet potato and 2 pieces of boiled banana or make a Callaloo sandwich with 2 slices of Whole Grain bread. Your meal would then be stacked with fibre and iron!
