Congrats to our Jamaica Tallawahs for winning both CPLT20 matches at home at Sabina Park last Tuesday and Wednesday. They beat the St. Lucia Stars and Chris Gayle’s St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Perhaps Gayle should have never left.
Best of luck to the Tallawahs for the rest of the tournament! It continues in Florida and other islands.
Check out the CPLT20 Schedule here!

After the Tallawahs’ spectacular win over Chris Gayle’s Patriots, they are now 2nd on the Points table, with the unbeaten Trinbago Knight Riders at the top.
The final 2 matches before the Playoffs will be held in Barbados. The Playoffs and Final will be in Trinidad.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors are currently in the 4th spot and the Barbados Tridents are in 5th Spot. Darren Sammy’s St. Lucia Stars without a single win in the tournament so far, don’t have a chance.
So, expect the Warriors to fight to secure a spot in the Playoffs tonight, but our Jamaica Tallawahs are looking good!
Enjoy!

Don’t worry Cricket fans, I have not forgotten you. Â I just feel a little left out since matches do not come to Jamaica until August 25th!
Florida got quite a few matches this year. My Kingston 21 Suga Bears should check out the Schedule! I know some went last weekend already.
CPL T20 2017 Schedule:
The Teams
Jamaica Tallawahs
Chris Gayle has left the Tallawahs for the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots! What a tragedy.
We still have Wicket Keeper and Batsman, Kumar Sangakkara though.
We acquired one of the best bowlers in CPL T20, Krishmar Santoki.
We also have a good batsman, Lendl Simmons.
The Coach is former English Cricketer, Paul Nixon.
Barbados Tridents
The Tridents have a decent team with all-rounder, Kieron Pollard, Bowler Ravi Rampaul, Wicket keeper out of Pakistan, Shoaib Malik and New Zealand Batsman, Kane Williamson.
Guyana Amazon Warriors
The Amazon Warriors have a lot of new faces like the Tallawahs.
Familiar names are the Kiwi Batsman, Martin Guptill, Batsman and Wicket Keeper, Chadwick Walton, Batsman and Bowler, Jason Mohammed and Bowler, Veerasammy Permaul.
St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots
The Patriots are coached by former West Indian Cricketer and Coach, Phil Simmons.
Joining Chris Gayle, they have well known, Samuel Badree, Carlos Brathwaite and Pakistani Bowler, Hasan Ali.
They are expected to do well.
St. Lucia Stars
The St. Lucia Stars have Aussie Batsman and Bowler, Shane Warson, Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels, Jerome Taylor and a Bowler from New Zealand, Mitchell McClenaghan.
Trinbago Knight Riders
The Trinbago Knight Riders are stacked! They have the Bravo Brothers, Dwayne and Darren, Kiwi Batsman, Brendon McCullum, Sunil Narine, Denesh Ramdin and popular South Africam Batsman, Hashim Amla.
How is it going so far?
Chris Gayle has the highest individual score of 66 for the Patriots.
Despite all the new faces, the Tallawahs have had a good start. They have the highest Team score of 154/5 and Mohammad Sami has the best Bowling figures of 12/4. Lendl Simmons is batting well too.
Kevon Kooper of the Knight Riders is the highest wicket taker with 6.

Congrats to the Jamaica Tallawahs for winning 4/4 at home! Last night they beat the Barbados Tridents who opted to field first, by 36 runs.
Thank goodness Chris Gayle has a stronger team this time around, especially since he is injured. He was dismissed early again but Chadwick Walton was the one last night who stepped up and scored 97 with the support of Sangakkara and he won Man of the Match.
The Tallawahs had an all around performance throughout the 4 games here. Well deserved victories.
It was a pleasure to see so many Jamaicans come out and support the Cricket, drinking or not drinking. Well done CPL. For those who actually follow the CPL, the Tallawahs leave home at the top of the table.
There are more matches to be played in St. Lucia followed by Florida who does not have a team and then the Playoffs and Final will be played St. Kitts. The Final will be played on Sunday, August 7. Continue to support the Tallawahs by tuning in to TVJSN, Sportsmax, ESPN Caribbean or any other Sports Channel that may be showing the matches.
You can also follow CPLT20 (@CPL) on twitter to keep up and tweet your support.
The Tallawahs will play St. Lucia next on Saturday, July 30 in Lauderhill, Florida.
CPL T20 will be at Sabina Park starting today! The Guyana Amazon Warriors are on top but will the Jamaica Tallawahs who are just 1 spot away take over in Ja? Schedule:
Tonight at 8pm: Jamaica Tallawahs vs Guyana Amazon Warriors
Saturday at 6pm: Tallawahs vs. St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots
Monday at 8pm: Tallawahs vs. Trinbago Knight Riders
