After 5 Finals, here are your Point Standings for the ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships!
Suga expects HYDEL, JAGO & HOLMWOOD to come up in the sprints for the Girls, but EDWIN ALLEN should still take Champs. I have to big up IMMACULATE who might finally take back the Corporate area this year. Can CALABAR nurse their injuries and improve execution from a tight situation to beat KC? Stay tuned! 2 more days to go!

Healthy Bites is located at a house in Trafalgar Park, close to NCB Atrium where you can pick up your Lunch.
Vegetarian meals such as Lentil Stew and other meals, typically of Jamaican cuisine such as Ackee and Saltfish, usually range in cost from $500-$700JMD. The meals come with a natural, home-made juice too. Cane juice is used instead of added sugar. Sugarcane juice reduces bad cholesterol levels in the body and has natural sugars. However, still ensure that you are within your limits of sugar intake for the day if you choose to drink juice and not water.
Note that the safe amount of sugar to consume each day is as follows:Â
Men: 150 calories per day (37.5g or 9 tsp.)
Women: 100 calories per day (25g or 6 tsp.)
You can customize your Lunch based on the sides you desire and they are open to suggestions. They also Deliver!

One elephant was not enough for GW Art’s client who is absolutely fond of elephants. The original and more vibrant, ‘Elephant in the room’ was supersized to balance the earth-toned version that was done for the Christmas 2018 Collection and they make a fantastic pair.

Non-profit organization, New Kingston Rotaract Club (Youth arm of Rotary) is having their annual Wing Sauce Competition this Saturday, March 30th by the Mona Dam. Like last year, they are having a Farmer’s Market too, encouraging us to eat healthy and buy our local produce, while contributing to charity at the same time. It’s a win-win for everyone.
Judging and sampling usually takes place at about 2:30/3:00pm. Suga will be judging again!
Then you can head down to the National Stadium to watch our very own young athletes put on quite a show at Champs! The writing is on the wall for the Girls with Edwin Allen, but for the Boys, will KC beat Calabar this year as they seem to be in position to do, or did they peak too early in the season?
Keep up with Suga Lifestyle’s Facebook and Instagram Page to keep updated with Champs and keep up with the New Kingston Rotaract Club by following them on Instagram @nkrcjamaica. If you are between the ages of 18-30, see how you can join them!

Rotaract is a worldwide non-profit organization made up of young professionals between the ages of 18
and 30 years old. There are over 7,000 clubs in more than 163 countries with membership exceeding 180,000. In Jamaica, there are about 20 Rotaract Clubs, of which the Rotaract Club of St.
Andrew is a community – based service organization, sponsored by the Rotary Club of St. Andrew. It is comprised of young professionals committed to the commonality of improving inner-city communities and creating opportunities for promising individuals within the Kingston Metropolitan Area. Rotaract provides opportunities for Personal and Professional development of its members as well.
Last week was World Rotaract Week. Every year, Rotaractors and Rotarians around the world celebrate World Rotaract Week with various activities during the week of 13 March to commemorate the founding of the first club in 1968. It was a time for celebrating the success and importance of the Rotaract programme.
Last Thursday, March 14th, the Rotaract Club of St. Andrew donated Professional Wear to Dress for Success Jamaica as a part of their World Rotaract Week celebration.
Dress for Success Jamaica is also a non-profit organization. They empower women by providing them with work attire, training and support so that they can achieve economic independence.
Kudos to both organizations on the charitable work they continue to do to help build a better Jamaica. For more information or to become a part of these organizations, please see their information below.
