Fiona of Award-Winning Advenique Home Décor (Ig: @adveniquehomedecor @designsbyfionakimberly) and Melissa of Melibeezz Accessories (Ig: @melibeezz_accessories) are two of the sweetest, talented ladies we know. The quality of their work is amazing. Sometimes you would never guess their products are Handcrafted or Handmade.
In times of difficulty or even a challenge before the Hurricane, they always find and bring the positive to the light.
We hope these stars get their electricity restored soon and start to fix the damage caused, so they can rebound strongly for the fast approaching Christmas Season, which we do still plan to celebrate. We have life.

Even though (R) Courtney’s community is not the same as she knew it, we are so happy she and her family are OK.
Fortyfour Miles Jewellery (Ig: @44milesjewellery) is one of our day 1 #SugaArtisans from when we used to host events in the Rio Bueno Suite. We could never give Courtney such a small table again 🙂 Now Award-Winning with new, eye-catching designs every year, she’s always a Suga Fam Fave.
Shop Fortyfour Miles Jewellery in the My Jamaica store in Liguanea, Kingston, Jamaica as we await other stores to reopen.

We had a lot of New, exciting events in store, but God had a different plan. We are navigating and have shifted our efforts to assist with the recovery process Post Melissa as much as possible. Our high quality Artisan pool is about 300 deep and many of us have been affected or family members have been affected. The effects of Hurricane Melissa have taken a toll on a lot of us mentally, especially if we made it through OK because it hurts us to see that many have not.
Some of us also feel helpless because it was already a rough year. Now opportunities for the Creative Industry to earn have been put on pause, raw materials have been damaged or access to raw materials are now non-existent or delayed. We are 1 Community and we will continue to help each other out of this difficult time. Even if it’s to provide access or information on resources, everything counts.
More information will come via this medium on what’s not next or still to come on the Calendar with Suga Lifestyle. But We Shall Rise again.
It’s been a busy few days, please pace yourselves and take breaks. Yesterday we assisted Barcode (Ig: @BARCODEJAMAICA) with packaging self care items. We did ~300 packages but they are on a road to 1000 and should be heading to Westmoreland today. More items are needed. Please drop off if and when you can. We know everyone has been making various contributions already via various avenues. This will be a continuous effort for our nation. Do what YOU can and be satisfied with that. Do not become overwhelmed. If you can’t help with this one, Share it, maybe someone else CAN.

The venue and surrounding communities for The Treasure Beach Food, Rum & Reggae Festival that was to be held next weekend, November 7-9, were terribly devastated.
Vendors that were to participate from St. Elizabeth have lost their homes, parts of their roofs and more.
Assistance is needed as soon as possible.
