The ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Champs will be on fire tonight and tomorrow as the finals of events will be run and more records will be broken. A few have gone already!
Who will win? For the Girls, after tonight, Edwin Allen will be the clear winner for this year defending their title once again!
For the Boys it will be down to the wire between KC and Calabar. JC will be totally out of the running. No true blue in sight. Can Fortis overcome Rabalac this time around? May the best school win!
March is recognized as Water and Sanitation Month by Rotary. Rotaractors and Rotarians worldwide are motivated to build wells, install water tanks and assist in providing clean water for children and families, as at least 3000 children die each day from preventable waterborne diseases.
The Rotaract Club of Nassau Sunset in the Bahamas currently has a Water Bottle Project where they provide reusable water bottles to students of Willard Patton Preschool encouraging them to drink and take clean water to school each day. The project also reduces plastic bottle waste, as the bottles are reusable.
The Rotaract Club of Nassau Sunset is about $150US away from their goal. Help them to donate reusable Bottles to Willard Patton Preschool Students.

Of all the teams after close shaves with the Hawks, OKC and Clippers recently, the Lakers were hitting on all cylinders yesterday to beat the Warriors 112-95, making it the Warriors’ sixth loss of the season.
Stephen Curry scored 18 points. According to ESPN Scorecenter, Curry stated, ‘Just one of those nights you want to avoid at all costs’. The team scored a season’s worst of 13% from 3-point range.
Who came up big for the Lakers? Young Jordan Clarkson who scored 25 points and D’Angelo Russell with 21 points. Kobe Bryant scored 12 points, sitting out a lot of the game with his sore shoulder but mentored his younger teammates from the sidelines.
The Warriors are still in pursuit to break the Bulls’ record of best season ever in the NBA of 72 wins. Warriors now have 55 wins. However, the San Antonio Spurs are closing in under the radar with 53 wins!
Spread this butter on your Bread and feel Guilt-Free! This Original Country Crock Butter is good to have if you must use butter (Fat-free Philadelphia Cream Cheese is an alternative), but in moderation. Sorry to burst your bubble but if spreading on bread, a smear is always best. It is still a blend of oils, water and a pinch of salt.
Amount per serving: 50 calories per serving (1 tbsp)
Positives:
â— Gluten Free
â— Og Trans fat (bad fat) per serving
â— No artificial preservatives
â— Only 8% Saturated fat
Drawback *(According to Suga)
It consists of Palm Kernel and Palm Oil which are bad or unhealthy fats, a.k.a. Saturated fat, but in a small amount (8%).
However the majority of it seems to consist of Soybean oil, which is healthy fat/Unsaturated fat. The container states it consists of 40% vegetable oil.
Note that Soybean oil is listed in the ingredients before the others and therefore would have the highest content.
So have fun with that ‘Bread and Butta’ but cook with Olive oil 🙂
Apologies to my Health and Fitness readers, you will get your Healthy tip tomorrow!
This Burger I had though! Hello Cheat Day! Where? C & C South Beach!
I ordered the Monster Burger that came with fries for $1500JMD. I was just expecting a big burger filled with tomato, lettuce and onions along with its advertised highlight of feta on top.
However, I was pleasantly surprised but terrified by the calories at the same time. The waitress approached the table with a Monster Burger indeed. It had not one, but two beef patties! The beef was fresh, not processed and it took you on a journey from a sharp taste in feta, through to two juicy, tender, well seasoned beef patties then a tasty sauce with beans at the end.
You don’t have to ask if it was filling!
Service was alright and you get a 5% discount with your Pop Up Gourmet Advantage Card. They used to offer 10%, but at least they are still participating.
